Half Day Beaver Safari

June 6 @ 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm

£90

This trip visits a wonderful location near Alyth where beavers have built a series of amazing dams and we can easily see how they have changed the surroundings to produce wildlife-rich wetlands.

We spend the first half of the evening on a walk to see all these changes in the environment and the second half sitting by the beaver pools, watching the beavers swimming, feeding, grooming and even dam repairing if we are lucky!

This is a great trip to learn all about the history of beavers in Scotland, their life story, how they re-appeared in Perthshire and why they are so important to the ecology of our rivers and wetlands. We have a 95-100% success rate of seeing the beavers on this trip.

This is a great trip for families as everyone can collect their own beaver chips and beaver-chewed sticks!

Other half day beaver safaris can be arranged on 13th, 20th and 27th June.
