Riverbank Beaver Safari (Blairgowrie)

Experience the evening wildlife on one of Perthshire’s loveliest rivers.

We meet you near Blairgowrie at dusk and take a short drive close to the river. We have a 15 minute walk to the water, during which you will find out about the history of beavers in Scotland, their life story, how they re-appeared in Perthshire and why they are so important to the ecology of our rivers. We will do a bit of riverside foraging too.

We have seen beavers on 95-100% of these tours in recent years, along with regular sightings of kingfishers and occasional otter appearances!
